ROCKET GARDEN MEMORIAL
ISRO launch vehicles-Sounding Rockets, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV, Mk-Ill are displayed in 1:1 ratio in the rocket garden. The lawns present around the garden serve as photo points. An observation tower with an observatory rises from the memorial.
The rocket garden is positioned at -3m LVL to ensure that it remains shaded. The central tower represents the orange cloud created during the first sounding rocket launch. This rises from the memorial , alluding to the legends being a beacon of light and a symbol of persistence . The tower can be seen from miles away inspiring not only visitors, but scientists alike. An observatory is located at the top of the observation tower . The paths taken (VP and SP) can be seen from here, thus coming full circle ,helping the visitors understand the journey they traversed.
