Prasad G.K.S
PrasadGKS is an Architect/Computational Designer with an interest in furthering the evolution of architecture and design using human-centric solutions and cutting-edge technology. He completed his B.Arch degree at the SRM Institue of Science and Technology, KTR in Chennai, India. His exemplary academic record earned him multiple scholarships and awards. He gained expertise in solving complex design problems during his academic years, internships in Dubai, and 2+ years of architectural practice. His concepts showcase artistic expression, logic, functionality, and a cinematic approach towards design. He aims to find synergy between sustainability and experimental design through parametric, procedural, and generative processes.
DESIGN BRIEF
The project is a hypothetical proposal for the Visitor Complex at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota, the Spaceport of India, a primary orbital launch site for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The proposal aims to facilitate the public to view launches and raise awareness about Indian space activities.

It caters to 1.5 million visitors per year (about 5000 visitors per day and 10,000 visitors on launch day). The proposed theme and program of the Visitor Complex includes a launch vehicle garden, exhibitions halls, simulations, the launch view gallery, Hall of fame, Space Theatre, Journey to Mars, and other attractions that pique the visitor's interest.
